Paint leads are the life blood of any painting business. That’s why its important to generate as much leads as you can. Below are 3 ways you can generate more paint leads for your business.
3 Ways to Generate More Paint Leads
1. Be where customers are looking
Nowadays, more and more people are searching for products & services online. Yes they’re even looking for painting contractors. They’re searching on google, bing, etc. and putting in a key word or series of key words in order to find a local painting contractor in their area (ex. “paint company in san diego”). Therefore, this is a great opportunity to build an online presence and compel these potential clients. Also, some popular methods to attract new clients are SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (search engine marketing), PPC (pay per click), and many other.
2. Be more targeted than the average paint company website
Typically, paint company websites include samples of their residential and commercial projects. This is too broad! You need to focus on a single target market and plan to dominate that niche. For example, if you focus most of your work on painting schools, then you should position your website as the go to school painter. Talk about your past projects, references, qualifications, etc. By getting more specific and showcasing the work that you do, you make it easier for search engines to find your company. That way when someone in your city is searching for a “school painting contractor” your company will rank high in the search results (the higher the better).
3. Go deep to get more paint leads
Comprehensiveness pays off in search results. It’s important to update new content via site pages or even blog posts. Make it a habit to add new content at least once a month. For example, you can just share an update on a recent project or give some industry tips. This will allow your site to typically rank higher in search engines (google, bing, etc) since you’re consistently adding more relevant content to your website.
