That’s a good idea to make sure that you get a contractor that will do a good job of preparing the house. I wouldn’t want there to be any paint on the carpet or anything if some got spilled. If I decide to have someone paint my house, then I’ll have to ask about how they will prepare the house beforehand.
Hi Tyler, prep is definitely key to any paint job. Thanks for sharing your feedback.
I like how you mentioned that a professional painter should have their license and registration on hand whenever they work with a new client. This way the new customer can fully trust them. I would never hire a painter that didn’t first show me that he is indeed a licensed professional.
Exactly, having these documents available builds credibility & shows professionalism.
Thanks for explaining how a contractor should have the correct licenses before they work on your home. I like the idea of hiring someone that has experience when it comes to transforming the looks of my home. Since my friend is thinking of modernizing his house, I think this information can come in handy!
I’m glad you found this info helpful.
I appreciate it when you pointed out how powerful references are to help you find trusted prospects. I will follow your advice and ask for recommendations and references when looking for painters here in Honolulu, Hawaii. The exterior walls of my house started to look old because of the color painting which is why I want them to be painted at this time in a different hue.
