For example, you don’t like tracking the numbers? Hire an accountant! You’ll not only tidy up your books but will have a better window to identify the type of jobs that are most profitable for your business.
Train frequently to run a better painting business
Your investments in your staff can expand your business capabilities as well as improve employee retention, so make sure you give them time to become better employees.

Thanks for the helpful tips! As a painting contractor, I often get overwhelmed with the work and don’t take enough time train my guys so then I feel like I can’t delegate to them. I appreciate the reminder that they are my most valuable resource, and I can’t neglect investing in them if I want to continue to grow my company. Coming into the end of the year, I’ll set some time specific goals for training them so that I feel more comfortable delegating in the new year.
Training is probably one of the best investments you can make for your company.
